Drawing has always been a passion of mine. From the time of picking up a pencil at 21 months and scribbling to refining my renderings throughout college.
Illustrating what I see in my dreams to everyday life its how I connect to objects. Having a talent is constant but persuing it is rare. Since having a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art-Illustration the ability to be a professional artist shouldn't even be a question. This is my path and I am always ready for the next fork in that path to get me to the exact place I want to be. Should I know what that place is...maybe. The world is full of lost dreams; mine isn't one of those.
So as an illustrator I wish to show people my talent and accomplish smiles and joy through my drawings.

"You should try painting." Words of wisdom from my mother. Although thinking in my youth that I could never be a "Painter" because to me that meant VanGogh and Monet. I had little knowledge of what joy painting could be or that I could ever be anything near to what the greats are recognized for. So I took a class in college: Painting One. Turns out Painting is a whole different story from drawing. Soft edges, easy blending or mudding if you would blend too much but I got the hang of it and truely was enthralled. I didn't want to stop and considered changing my degree to fine art painting but knew at the time I wasn't keen on the idea of presenting my work in galleries. Once again having barely any knowledge on what the gallery world offers... I found out recently that I was right it isn't what I want to do with my work but painting is still another passion of mine.
